Nel dicembre 2008 si è
tenuta la prima sessione di DifferenzArti,
progetto che si propone, attraverso le pratiche teatrali, di attivare un
percorso artistico e formativo che veda protagoniste persone, alle quali è
riconosciuto uno stato di disagio (principalmente fisico e psichico), che
crediamo debbano essere socialmente riconosciute come portatrici di ricchezza
differente.
DifferenzArti è
realizzato con il contributo del Programma Cultura 2007-2013 voluto dalla
Commissione Europea. Sarà un cantiere dove si misurano non solo esperienze già
compiute ma si consentono nuove progettualità, dove si istituiscono momenti di
festa ma anche momenti di riflessione, dove si incontrano i protagonisti delle
performance e dove gli operatori possono acquisire nuovi strumenti di lavoro.
Capofila è il Comune di Lumezzane che insieme a BIrds of Paradise Theatre
Company (Scozia), Kava Cultural Group (Ungheria), Theatre Tsvete (Bulgaria) e
Gemeinnützige Regionalgesellschaft Usedom-Peene (Germania) e con i Comuni di
Desenzano del Garda, Manerbio ed Edolo sosterrà laboratori teatrali orientati
alla produzione di spettacoli con cooperative, aziende ospedaliere,
associazioni e gruppi del territorio. Le tappe del progetto vedranno
susseguirsi altri workshop, giornate di studio, spettacoli, iniziative di
ricerca e approfondimento per terminare nel 2010 con un Festival.
Project
description
The project is centred on the development of a high quality social
theatre network. The high quality applies to the efforts made in the social
dimension but certainly also regards the cultural-artistic ambitions.
Objectives can be summarized in two words: social and cultural excellence
The social dimension of the theatre regards both the topics of the
theatre shows as well as its performers (actors). The topics of the project’s
performances will attract the audiences’ attention to social issues in Europe
and in the world.At the same time the
actors involved will be from various disadvantaged social groups (mentally /
physically disabled, minorities,marginalized groups). Theatre, because of its direct contact between
artists and public, has proven that it is particularly suited for addressing
social integration and intercultural dialogue among different social groups in
different cultures.
The cultural artistic dimension is guaranteed by all partner
organisations, which are all experts in theatre and dramatic arts and able to
develop performances that can interest a large and demanding public, aware that
to get more attention for the social dimension it is crucial to attract a large
audience from different layers of society and not only those already socially
inclined.
Activities are: theatre performances, workshops, theatre tour,
international festival
Each Co-organiser/Co-ordinator will work on the production ofatheatre performance during the project, which will allow them to
exchange experiences on the production process. This experience exchange (in
two workshops held respectively in Italy and Slovakia) will be completed
with presentations of previous experiences of all Co-organisers, and will be
guided by experts who will give presentations, lectures and coordinate
practical exercises both in the social field as well as in the various artistic
disciplines. To develop a coherent programme of performances for a theatre
festival, held at the project end, there will be coordination among the
theatre performances to be produced (interaction of producers at performance
workshops and management meetings). Theatre performances will furthermore,
prior to the festival, tour in Europe in order to increase intercultural
dialogue possibilities and test the international impact of the shows before
the festival.
